About Us

Who are we?

I hope we are a vocal minority that wants a hand-up and not a hand-out.  I fear we live on the fringe of society – taking from others because we “deserve” it.

This is not our lot in life.  We can overcome.  And some of us have.  I hope they can show all of us the way out and I ask for their support here, at this blog.

Please look to this blog for current information about the bleeding disorder community.  If you think something should be posted here, please send a message to the host.

Your site is a breath of fresh air. Important and timely information presented in a supportive manner without being overly histrionic. Thank you.

Very interesting site. Thanks for putting it together. I’m wondering if you could give us a little more info on who you are.

      What information would you like?

I am a parent of a child with hemophilia. I look to the past for insight and the future for hope.
the older generations have so much information to share with us – we just need to listen.

Cool. I’m one of the older generation. I’m 56, severe factor 9, h^3, 6 joint replacements, gene therapy lab rat. What would you like to know?

Hello, I’m Vaibhav, a young man living with severe hemophilia A. I’m visiting your site for the first time and I find it really interesting. Thanks for putting up the updates about clinical trial results. Having volunteered for hemophilia drug trials myself, I feel very hopeful about the new drugs that are developed. :-)
